When working on or about a greenhouse, safety has become increasingly important in recent years. Partly because greenhouses are getting higher, and the gutters narrower, dangerous situations arise where serious accidents have already occurred in the past.

Greenpride makes every effort to ensure the safety of staff and patrons. As of Jan. 1, 2010, health and safety legislation changed. Contractors who are members of the VSR (Association of Screen and Cleaning Companies) which also participated in the occupational health and safety catalog will not let their employees work on your greenhouse without safe tools or fall protection starting January 1, 2010. This means that secure service rails with sufficiently sturdy gutter consoles and a service dock become indispensable to a greenhouse. Contractors who fail to comply with the legislation can face large fines.

But the most important reason to work safely is still the well-being of the employees themselves.
